Bob - that makes sense. When Method adds the invoice into QuickBooks through the normal user interface (or the API) there is currently no way to specify the site (or location) that it belongs to when the inventory site feature is turned on.

We really want to buy method and use it but the feature to do automated emails and task assigments is not in the product. Currently we are using SalesForce and would like to move over to method. Any idea on when this technology would be implemented?

When I use MethodAPI to insert invoices, these items are showing up with "Unspecified Site" in the Site column in QuickBooks.
It seems that I can remove that column by:
Edit | Preferences | Items & Inventory | Company Preferences | Advanced Inventory Settings
and unchecking the box

Can you enable MethodSupport under Customize > Users by checking Active for MethodSupport and email me your Method account name along with one customer who is having this issue so I can take a look?

Are you by chance referring to using the advanced inventory features in QuickBooks 2012? If so, these are not supported by Method at the current time. In QuickBooks 2011, Intuit introduced the ability to have locations however they did not inform developers that the SDK was updated this past year to also support ...

I am just going to the customer's profile and clicking on the documents tab and then I click on a pdf icon. That's when I am redirected the an error page.
I am not sure if any of the screens are customized or not.
Even when I sign in and out the document is still not viewable.

Are any of the screen customized?
If you sign out and sign back in can you then see that customers document?

This has to do with the way you are presenting the portal. Currently, you are presenting the portal as a iframe within a lightbox. For the customers to see this as https you'll need to use https for your site.
The quickest way to solve this is to have the portal open in a new window rather than a lightbox.
