Hi Dan,
What I'm kind of envisioning is a custom item table, similar to how our InvoiceLineItem table works. The InvoiceLineItem table holds all of the items used in invoices. I will also hold the price that was set on the invoice. It acts as a separate item list. What you might be able to do is create your own type of table like ...

Stephen,
My apologies, there is a button on the Item Receipt screen to select a Purchase order. If you select the Items tab when entering the receipt, you should see a Select PO... button. Here are some screens:
This will bring up a screen to select the open purchase orders from the vendor. I think this is what you are looking for. ...

Hi Dan,
When you mention "enter into the actual Rate" field, do you mean in the transaction screen? If so, then yes, if you change the rate on the individual transaction, it won't have any affect on the price level. There are many ways to achieve price levels. As long as the price on the transaction is okay, I would think you're ...

Hi Stephen,
Unfortunately, I don't believe this functionality is available in a stock Method account. Just to clarify, are you wanting to create a bill from an item receipt? Or a bill from a purchase order?
As per this article, an item receipt to bill conversion is not available through the SDK.
Hope this helps,

Hi Dan,
For the first part of the question, I believe what you may be looking for are price levels. We have a blog post on Price Levels that can help you set this up.
As for the second part of your question, I'm quite sure what you're trying to do. Where are you displaying these prices? On the Edit Customer screen? If so, why?

Stephen - Thanks for the input!
Dan,
There are few ways you can do this. Stephen's suggestion can be done. Another way would be to create two sections, each with a grid. One grid would be your editable grid with the fields you only want your one person to see. The other section would have a grid the rest would see (without the editable ...

Hi Scott,
I ran a test in my account and was able to have it sync over. Would it be possible its filtered out of the grid? If you wish, you can enable MethodSupport and email me your Method account name and I can have a look. Also let me know which contacts I'm looking for and I'll see what I can find.

Hi Scott,
If you import the contact into your Outlook program, you can then add the contact to Method through the plug-in. Unfortunately, there's no way to the .vcf file directly to Method. You'll first need to add the contact to Outlook, then add them to Method.
Hope this helps,

Hi Lance,
Sorry for the late reply. This is a known issue with the progress bar. I recommend only importing 500 records at a time, as the progress bar and the import tool work best around that number. In the future, if you can limit the import to 500 or less, you should see it run much smoother.

Hi Garrett,
Sorry for the late reply but I have an answer for this. It appears the fields don't sync. I was able to get my hands on a contractor's edition and those two fields for sure don't come over. I've gone through the SDK documentation and there's no mention of those two fields.
It may simply be that we ...
