Ahhhh......I finally see what you see now. I was testing the gadget on a brand new account and saw the lack of color and logos.
Once the gadget goes out of beta, this issue won't be there anymore, it will use your style and color scheme from your site and look pretty. Right now it looks like crap on any account that hasn't ...

Does this happen to you every time you add an activity, or just in certain circumstances?
Has this ever worked for you?
Which browser? (i.e. Chrome/FireFox) Which version (i.e. Chrome v 19).

Actually, I was able duplicate this every time.
I have a fix up there now where the redirect reads what your personal preferred version of Method is (April or May, or for that case June, July, etc.), and does a redirect specifcally to that version. Previously it was hardcoded to sign you into the current "live" version, which is not ...

Thanks Mark -
I had the same thing happen to me, but can't duplicate it regularly. I'm able to get out of the loop by:
1. Signing into the April version, and signing out.
2. Switching to the May version.
3. Trying the link from Gmail again.
There are so many variables at play, and it's all related to shuffling versions of ...

Okay, thanks.
Keep the feedback coming - we want to get this right.

Thanks Mark.
I find the stale data concept interesting. I'm going to challenge you on that one :).
Is it because you are just testing, and beating it up, wheras in real-life use it wouldn't be perceived as stale?
Contact info - this can be stale as you switch between tabs. If you go to contact info then to activities, then back to ...

Thank you for the kind words (though, they really belong to our families who allow us to put in the ridiculous hours it takes to make it all happen!).
That said - keep the honest feedback coming, even when it is brutal. The Gmail Gadget is a big thing for us, so we want to make sure we get it right.

Great. That way when you change screens in the future, the gadget keeps on tickin'.
By the way, what's your general sense for the new My Profile screen, and the gadget settings? Confusing, nicely laid out, too much animation, smooth, etc.? This will be the standard My Profile screen on the next version of Method in a few weeks, so ...
