• Re: Quickbooks is closed

QXpress and Method are two different divisions of the company. In fact you should treat them as two different company’s altogether. Since you’re using QXpress Online your point of contact should be QXpress and any support provided would be through QXpress not Method (including forums). FYI – you can call the main number ...

So I don't pay $65 per month to Method? and $3 to Qxpress who use your software and they customise a small part of it. I would have thought that would have given me some level of support on here? Qxpress have told me my customer needs to goto Quickbooks to resolve their issue.

Sorry for the confusion. This is actually the Method forum and website. Information regarding QXpress or QXpress Online would be located on the QXpress website. Please use the link below which will direct you to the QXpress community and forums. http://www.qxpress.com/cs/forums/default.aspx Hope that helps,

  • Re: Is there a Build Assembly Copy/Save As feature in Method?

Dave - Don't you mean ItemInventoryAssembly? You can't create a BuildAssembly for an item that doesn't already exist as an ItemInventoryAssembly in the QuickBooks item list. So you would really want to be making a SaveAs of an ItemInventoryAssembly, no? Before you try to figure out how to do it in Method, how would ...

You've lost me. I have installed method on 3 computers before and never had to deal with my BSC (Qxpress) Apparently this is some issue with Quickbooks having a corrupt SDK? Any ideas?

  • Is there a Build Assembly Copy/Save As feature in Method?

Is there a Build Assembly Copy/Save As feature in Method? For example lets say there is an existing Build Assembly item "Bicycle Model 1000" with 500 parts. Client wants to create a new BA item called "Bicycle model 2000" with the same 500 parts except 20 parts will be ...

  • Re: Has mapping been pushed out yet? Thank you - Jacob

Hey Jacob - Sorry I didn't respond right after the screens were. I was going to post some instructions up here for you - but it looks like you figured it out. There are a lot more capabilities we put into the platform for mapping that you don't see, but are actually available to you if you wanted to venture into customization ...

  • Invoicing

In Qxpress you are able to do batch invoicing either at end of the month. We are switching to monthly pre-billing (same amount each month). Currently, we do end of month batch invoicing. Does method support either of these options or just invoicing per job? Thank you - Jacob

  • Re: Has mapping been pushed out yet? Thank you - Jacob

Wow! I am blown away by how fast mapping is! I understand you are just rolling this out so no complaints. Will there be the ability to customize the order of the stops at all? Have a great evening - Jacob

  • Major error in Method sync - Estimates being altered by $1,000's of dollars

Val has been doing a customization job for us, and we have encountered a major error. When we make an inactive estimate active (our procecdure when a job schedules), it produces errors in the estimate. The most major is that a number of items have their mark-up column change from a percentage to number. In other words, a 20% mark-up becomes ...
