Hi Alex,
There is no way you would be able to trigger a set of actions automatically the way you're describing. You could, however, create a button that does this. Your users would have to push it to manually update the inventory, but as long as you instruct them to do so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

An example would be selecting a SKU/Item in Method and choosing zero quantity or zero cost. Yes it does show up in the resolve conflicts but it should be an error for the end user not an admin function.
