I am a new user, and I want to slowly to convert from the software that I use now to method.
I have been reading about tags, and I am not sure if I should use tags or create a new field in the customer screen to divide the customers in different types (commercial, residential,etc).

Lets say I have two types of customers, commercial and residential. The software I use now (QXpress) allows you to filter the residential customers, create a list and memorize it.
Then I can use the memorized list to filter anything I want like invoices, estimsates, reports, emails, letter etc.

But this way all six applications will have the same job name, and they will have an exact date.
Ideally, should be each application with a different name and should be on a waiting list, since we do not know the exact date of the application

I have to create an estimate with 3 services. weekly maintenance (recurring), Spring clean-up (waiting list) and Lawn treatment program (6 steps).
If I put all this in the same estimate, how would I change them to work orders when the customer approves the work?
