Ian, Just another update with this.  With the latest version, that should be out later this week, those options for the calendar sync are now hidden when viewing emails.  It will only appear when you are in the calendar view. Hopefully that will help to avoid future confusion.  

 SAdly, I had to roll backl to Office 2007.  I could  not get 2010 to sync with my blackberry, which to me is critical.  Method is working great with 2007 though.
