• Re: Print out custom fields

You would simply add the field you created to a grid on your screen as a column (Step 2 of the Grid Wizard) when you're editing a grid's properties. Publish the page and you'll see that the newly created column has a blank field for filtering at the top. You can now search for specific records in ...

  • Re: It does not appear the field exists in the table.

Matt - sorry, this post fell through the cracks. You are most likely receiving that message because you passed an empty field name. My guess is that you split a comma separated string into an array, and the last field still had a "," after it. For example: field1,field2,field3,".Split(",") would actually ...

Field Services is scheduled for roll out next week, provided that testing goes through smoothly. We want to get it out as soon as possible. As for QuickBooks 9.0, provided the data fields for the Manufacturing and Field Service components are exposed via the SDK, then they will also be in Method. Cheers!

If I create a custom field, "RMA #", how do I use a grid to filter and search by that number? Kind of like Activity has a grid that you can sort thru Activity or customer name or date or something.

We are using the Case's Screen to record what we call "Calls". We also have a specific "Call Report Number" that goes with each call. Is there a way to change the AUTO NUMBERING Case #? So instead of starting with '1,2,3..." it starts with 09-001 and then continues to count up ...

Hi there! Well, there's a couple of ways you can print off those custom fields. You can create a report using Method Report Designer. Reports are created as PDFs so you can then print them to your specs and save them accordingly. You could also add a button that utilizes the Export to Excel action and then send your data to ...

Hi Everyone, I received an email from Fran who asked…. “Is there a way to copy screens/tables so that you don’t destroy your originals? I tried but wasn’t successful at doing either of these. How do you know what fields will sync back to QB? or are these the “greyed out” fields ...
