Office 365 requires SSL (actually TSL). AT&T didn't like that port because I believe they use SSL, not TSL. But with AT&T it doesn't seem to matter if it's SSL or not.

I wish it was that easy, but I had already been using port 587 on MS Office 365 and using port 587 with AT&T returns a message that says secure connections are not allowed.

Can you please be more specific? Are you looking for addresses with usernames and passwords or just provider names? The providers are at&t and Microsoft office 365.

I did, but that didn't fix it. And I don't think both of our SMTP servers would be causing an error . . with the SMTP servers from different providers.

We're having trouble sending email . . . it keeps saying "operation timed out". And then if we try a different SMTP server it says something like, "user does not have permission to send as this sender".

Activities, opportunities, etc. was my main concern . . . although I would be interested to know what will happen to QB transactions that are in Method, but not in QB.

We had a failure of the computer that held our QB company file. We restored from backup but lost one day's worth of QB data. So we worked in QB on 12/9, but restored a backup from 12/8.
So Method was syncing on 12/9, but now when we restored QB the 2 will be out of sync by one day. What do I need to do with ...

I see now, the filter is actually "Shared ACTIVE Activities . . . " The hidden activities are marked completed.

When we open an existing opportunity and look at the activities tab for that opportunity, and try to use the "shared activities on or before today" view, it doesn't show any activities. It's only when we select "Shared activities" that it actuall shows activities BEFORE today. This ...

On the opportunity window, the company name no longer shows up by default. I know I can customize it, but I try to stay away from that if possible. I wanted to put in my 2 cents that the company name should be shown by default. Contact name isn't as important as the company name since people come and go at companies. We ...
