Apparently, this error is occurring when I try to create a new opportunity using the Insert Records Into Database action. When I include the Contacts field, I get the error. When I leave out the Contacts field, the insert is performed.

Step 4 (Dropdown Choices) of Dropdown Menu Properties only allows me to select a unique table field with the 'Select Field' menu. I can select any field to show in column 2 and column 3.

Thought you might like to know I just received a similar error on a custom screen I am working on. The error is:
"The value 'Contact Name' was not a valid dropdown list value for 'ContactsRef'."
The contact, 'Contact Name', has been properly entered into the tables I intended.

A small correction to my earlier post.
The opportunity is always saved properly. In case (1), an estimate is created. In case (2), a sales order is created instead of an estimate.

Does the field have to equal one of the values in the selection list? Or may the field simple contain one of the values in the selection list?
