• Re: best practice recommendations with multiple, large lists of leads

Hi Jennifer, This really depends on how you wish to approach this.  If you were to import each lead, several thousand a year, and few of which become actual leads then you may have thousands of dead leads in Method.  You can certainly do this, then possibly design a screen to 'purge' the list once in awhile. The bigger concern ...

  • Re: Creating a report for estimates

If I'm not mistaken you're referring to QuickBooks Reports correct? Which includes the following information from all Estimates that exist in QuickBooks: Company Name Products/Services Total Dollar Value If that's the case then I would suggest you look at the QuickBooks Reports Center and looking into ...

  • Re: Editing a lead error

Hi theavspecialist, Leads don't sync to QuickBooks so I'm not sure why you're receiving this message. Are you sure this lead hasn't been converted into a Customer? Even so you should be able to edit just the email address without receiving a conditional warning. Try this, go to Customize > Tables/Fields > click on the ...

  • Re: Product List and Customer List

Hi Fast Eddie, Is this related to your other post regarding taxes? Method will keep the same data as QuickBooks, so if a Customer/Item are marked as taxable in QBO then make sure you perform a Full Sync then refresh your screen in Method and check again. If you want to change the default value then you would need make a copy of the ...

  • Re: New Customers added from Method aren't showing up in Quickbooks

Hi Lindsay, Make sure you've performed a Full Synchronization and that the time is up to date. You can check when the last time a full sync was performed by clicking on the QuickBooks tab, then by clicking on the Synchronize tab link. If the time is up to date then check for conflicts by clicking on the Resolve Conflicts tab link. If ...

  • Re: Invoice calculations

    Hi Karen,
Anyone have a suggestion where I can get around this issue?
There's no getting around this - we mimic exactly what happens in QuickBooks after sync so we can't allow overwrites with RateXQty.  What you could do is overwrite the rate with desired Amount/Qty.   If the ...
When they order, I then go into QBO to add them as a customer and create an invoice for them.
Hi Marybeth, Just a quick adjustment to your process to fix this - when your lead is ready to order you should create their invoice from Method and make sure you disable Wait for sync approval. ...

The easiest way to set up a reminder to call back a customer is an option with our Activity Screen called Schedule a Follow-up. Once the option ...

  • Re: bill payment issue

Hi John, I was able to replicate this. Seems when you update or save it doesn't like the COGS for some reason. I'm able to use other account types though…what about you? Let me look further into this before I post back here. A temporary solution is for you to create these particular bills in QB…they'll still sync to ...

Hi Fran, The Yes indicator for the "Iswaitingforsync" field or the checkmark for the label "Waiting for Sync Approval? for the "Estimate", "Receive Payment", "Sales Order", and "Invoices" screeens, will prevent the transactions from being sent over to QuickBooks until the ...
