Chad, Thanks for your response...I am either extreemly tired or don't have the correct permissions on the user that was created for me, but I still cannot find where you are add the sales rep names so that they will show up in the drop down. When I go to my method account if I choose the "QuickBooks" tab the only options are Sync, ...

Sort of, but I'm a bit confused.
In the "Converting Estimates To Invoices To Sales Orders" webinar, I see in the "Edit Customer" page, there is a "Transactions" section in one of the tabs near the bottom. I also notice that within this "Transactions" tab are both invoices AND estimates.
We have a ...

I am attempting to create invoices from work orders or work order lists. I am not getting any error message. It appears that the request takes you into a loop. It does not create the invoice in Method so it cannot sync into QuickBooks. If you go straight to create invoice in Method it works. I have tried this in both ...

What I found is that Method was unable to prevent you from trying to build an assembly that doesn't have enough parts to build, therefore it wouldn't populate line items/sync with QB. We would really like to see the list of items and available QTY before building and a QTY can build at the top of the form. ...

Hello Mystery Man from 2009. Where for art thou?
I see that the bin carries the Lot Number, but the sync engine creates the bin, (not the method item receipt).
How can we easily tell what bins to put the Lot number in after the PO has been received?
Also, some PO lines need multiple lot number assignments when they're received (3 lots# to 1 ...

OK, lets start over.
I just tested again and the dropdown list of numbers I have in Method is not from my sales tax groups in QB. So, I am back to square one.
I noticed something interesting though. All of my sales tax groups were brought over in the sync. If I look under items, all of my Sales Tax groups are there. However, when I ...

Hello,
Regarding Heather's reply - this sounds legitimate and should work, however one thing I did want to add is that the method (pun intended) above will cause all your "test" data to go over to your legitimate QuickBooks file, which will appear as conflicts under QuickBooks -> Resolve Conflicts section. A work-around to ...

Hi Amanda,
I think I have it figured out now. I was assuming that a 'lead only' contact's estimate would not synchronize w/ Quickbooks. From reading this reply, http://www.methodintegration.com/cs/forums/p/492/1588.aspx#1588, apparently lead status converts to a customer when a transaction such as estimate is performed. I didn't ...

Even with "all customers" it is still showing only our customers that start with numeric digits or the letter A. There is nothing beyond that.
The last refresh date shows : Last performed 7/20/2009
When I sync now, it still stays the same, with no error messages.
In addition, no transactions for ...

Ok then 2 pieces of feedback: For the developer this makes sense,
but for the end user, they will need more customizable options for resetting
their method database account. It is my experience that many times when
multiple errors are encountered, being data damage (I’ll post for this at a
later time) or missing list elements that many ...
