Hi dknoben,
It's my pleasure. I just want to touch on the customer/contact scenario the you mentioned. We do include some backend logic or "Method magic" as we like to refer to it here that keeps the customer and primary contact data in-sync. You can actually see this take place in Method; when you update this data on the customer, ...

Hi Blake,
Sorry for the late reply. Generally, TxnLineID sync errors for sales orders are due to either the line already being invoiced, or the item not syncing over to QB yet.
Given that you were able to re-add the item and have the conflict go away, leads me to believe that the item hasn't synced or is in conflict for some ...

I apologize for the inconvenience. We generally sync with all the fields that are available through QuickBooks SDK. But Quickbooks keeps on updating the list and it takes time to implement that with our current version of the integraton engine. We do update our engine based on the updates available from QB. I will update this post once we ...

On my issue trying to use Report Designer (RD) to create a new Statement Of Account, I realized RD does not have enough of a feature set to link Transaction and Customer AND handle filters on BOTH tables. Instead, I decided it would be easier to empty the Invoice.Memo field and use the QuickBook statement of account report. I created a ...

Hi Wentsi,
Since the Customer Type table is actually a QuickBooks table, it turns out there's an easier way to do this from within QB. You can find how at this link:

If you don't have ...

Hey Aaron,
The team I was on had a lot of the same questions and issues.
Keep in mind that the schema is largely the schema from Quickbooks, not something that the Method guys created to be cruel.
There are some online resources from Quickbooks related companies : http://doc.qodbc.com/qodbc/Qodbc_20_us.html
Along those lines, if you ...

mmcgrath - I am not sure it would be possible to use a linked field in the Customer Table for the Contacts Title, this would likely cause some issues (what if you have many Contacts tied to one Customer). Have you considered adding a custom field to your Customer Table, call it "Job Title"? Just note, with this method if you ...

Hi Scott,
I ran a test in my account and was able to have it sync over. Would it be possible its filtered out of the grid? If you wish, you can enable MethodSupport and email me your Method account name and I can have a look. Also let me know which contacts I'm looking for and I'll see what I can find.

Kbquinn,
At this point, I am not completely sure if Method just isn't accessing these fields from QuickBooks because it has not yet been setup, or if this is a Quickbooks SDK limitation. Either way, unfortunately at this time, Method does not have the ability to sync with these other alternative ...

Please check to see if the Method Integration Engine is up and running and your Quickbooks file is open. If the sync engine is working, the customer you are deleting may have transactions associated with it.
If customers have previous transactions, QuickBooks will not allow Method to delete them. If you check QuickBook -> Resolve ...
