  • Re: Sorting dropdown field in grid

Hi thesolarguys, The only way to sort a dropdown is to make the sorting field the first column of the dropdown. There unfortunately isn't a way to sort it by secondary fields, or a way to force a sort. - Justin

  • Sorting dropdown field in grid

Is there a way to sort a dropdown field in a grid. For instance on the AddEditWorkOrder page there is a dropdown field as Job Item on the work order. Right now it sorts by the first column which is the product names. I created a new field in the table called ItemOrder which I label each item with an letter of the alpha bet to ...

  • Re: Summary

Hi Marcelo, There are better, easier ways than script. Is the calculated field dynamic and unique for each record or is it a total calculation for all records? If it is unique for every record then the best and easiest solution is to store that value into a field in table and have it displayed in the report designer later; if it is the latter ...

It would be possible to create a button to copy an Estimate, however. It would function similarly to the Create Sales Order button on the ...

  • Re: Change width of first section

Hi Hanley, It seems that everything looks fine. Can you send me a screenshot of the customization screen (on Advanced -> Step 1 of 5)? It could also be a browser issue, if so, your best option is to call our Method support team and ask them to walk you through it. Marwan

  • Filter future occurences in series from activity grid

Is it possible to create a filter in the activity grid that will omit all future occurences in a series and include only the next upcoming one? For instance, one of my staff has a small but important task that has to be completed twice a week.  When she looks at her upcoming tasks for the month, I don't want her to see 60 occurences of ...
