to that particular invoice. The caveat here is that if Method is not

I launched a Changes-only synch via the Method website QuickBooks screen, Synchronize tab at about 11:15 am, shortly after we concluded our phone call. This was after it had apparently completed a prior Changes synch, although the previous one never showed up in my Synch preferences window.

My apologies, but we've done a little more digging, and this is actually by design. The reason that this happens is that QuickBooks provides this information upon sync as it first needs to generate an invoice number that Method pulls. Therefore it would be a duplication of effort to pre-fill this data.

I just tested this process and have to disagree. Method Sync is open. I create a new Estimate, add the Customer and nothing else. I Saved. I then proceed to add items to the Estimate, the custom fields fill in and are saved. I click Save a second time.

Thank you for the honest response. That is a rather egregious bug, because it means that not only does the Method Sync have to be open, but I have to wait at least 5 minutes for the records to synchronize before I can start working on an estimate.
Do you see a backend fix for this in the near future? This effectively breaks some of the promises ...

I'll add a little more to this too. This is a limitation of the built-in method screens that they don't do this automatically. I think they could in the future, but right now it's a bit of a technical challenge to do it just like QuickBooks on our Method grids.

I think what I would like to try would be to have your team undelete all of my current conflicts en masse; then I can do a full sync and see what's left. The changes I have made should fix most, if not all, of the conflicts. I have checked Method and in the user tab, Method Support is checked as active.
