Ok. After some thought, I check my customizaton and I believe that the error was caused by it. I'm still havng problems, but I need to check some things out before posting.

I have a design question in regards to the customer PO field. I see where I can enter the customer PO into Estimates and Invoices, but I would like to enter it at the time I create a new customer / Job. I do not normally create estimates and I need to retain the PO number before I create the invoice.

With our workflow, we need to create new sub-customer / job under each primary customer. In QB when I create a new sub-customer / job under the primary customer, QB copies the same information into the sub-customer / job then I modify it to that site/information. For example: primary customer (ABC) and sub-customer / job FA Inspections ...

It was me. I did customize the screen. Not sure what I did to make it do that, but make another copy and it works find now.

I think what would realy help is if you had a table overview with relationship. In the old days, MS Access had a view that showed all the tables with relationship points. Do you have anything like that, that you can share?

OK... I'm not having any success with this. For Example:
I've created 2 fields under the customer table: CustomerNTE and VendorNTE. I've tried to select the "Add a Linked Field", but it did not give me the option to select the above fields.
I'm confused and need my hand held!
