I was walking a customer through logging into our customer portal that is linked through a button on our company website. We were unable to log in when using Internet Explorer - we were led to a screen similar to the login screen (but in a courier font) that said the username/password didn't exist. But we tried with Chrome and it worked.

Is there some known issue with IE, or certain versions of it?

Or, please let me know what can be done to prevent/fix this.

Can I ask what version of Internet Explorer you're using? I'm not able to replicate the issue with IE11. Have you tried clearing your cache?

It's not me - it was one of our customers. I imagine lots of our customers will be using various O/Ss and browsers.

They were using Windows 7 so I'm sure it's at least IE11. I logged in on my own IE11 fine, so I'm not sure what was going on with them. But when I did it on their computer (we were using GoToMeeting), I could not log in unless I used Chrome.

It's pretty concerning...

It may be a caching issue, have them clear their cache and try again.
