Sales receipt problem

    Sales receipt problem

    WHEN CLIENT ENTERS LINE ITEMS INTO SALES RECEIPT THE DESC FIELD PULLS FROM PREVIOUS LINES DATA. SOMETIMES LINE SOMETES LINE TWO. IT HAPPENS WHEN TABBING FROM ITEM SELECTION TO DESC DURING AUTO POPULATE PROCESS. ITEM RATE IS ALSO INCORRECT.

    As we talked about on the phone this morning. The same issue was occuring on invoices. I'll wait to hear from you guys when the fix is run through testing.

     Phillip,

    Thank you for working with us today and showing us the pattern you went through to duplicate the issue.  The next update will have this – which could be as early as tomorrow morning.

     Hi Phillip,

    We’ve pushed out the update, now you should be able to tab over to enter new line items in Sales Receipt and Invoices and it should work perfectly. :)

    Looks like this or something related has cropped up again. I read that there was an update running yesterday. Maybe something related to that? Not sure...

    Problem = On sales receipt screen, when client is entering sales receipt data, description information for the item is not posting

    It looks like it is just a group of items from their item list.

    However, during troubleshooting, we did incur one instance in which the third line item didn't post the description regardless of what the item was.

    The item that was being used during the problem last was as follows:

    Merit Pro 1/2" One Coat Roller Cover <<<<< Item Description

    00101 1/2" <<<<<< Item Name

    They have numerous items with the " character in them as well as / character.

    I'll see if I can't replicate the problem with some other items that have those characters sometime today and will post results of that. 

    Right now, it "seems" like it might be only the Merit Pro items which makes NO sense. :)

    it looks like the character that is causing us a problem is the " in the item name

    my template account has three items on the 2nd page of the inventory item list filter that you can look at it you'd like.

    i had no problem replicating the problem on my template account so I think I've isolated it

    Glad to! I talked with our client and we're also going to pull that character out of the item list before the week is out. I'll comment if we still see the issue after we remove the character.
