Just tried out the new data table. It looks great!!!

    Re: Data Table!

DataTableBETA Object (Editable Grids) Wish List

    Regarding Grid

    1. Unable to retrieve value from Item table after adding Item drop down field where Data Table was based on EstimateLine. This would be used to get sales desc, sales price, etc.

    2. Ability to show / hide Delete button on grid

    3. Ask for confirmation before deleting a row on grid

    4. Ability to search grid

    5. Ability to filter grid

    6. Ability to sort grid

    Regarding Designer

    1. Ability to show / hide Add lines button

    2. Ability to add actions on click for columns that cannot be edited (for go to screen action)

    3. Add an expression to column

    4. Ability to duplicate a View to eliminate need for redoing all filters.

    5. Ask for confirmation before deleting a view

    6. Ask for confirmation before deleting a column in the configurator (nuisance if there are actions on the column)

    7. Ability to control column width

    Resolved

    1. Ability to show / hide RecordID on Column configurator under formatting (discovered this can be done on the view)

    2. When changing to another view that had hidden columns it takes too long for the grid to refresh. (This was resolved by correcting the filter. Was trying to load to many records. Could be an issue on larger databases)

    Re: Data Table!

Hi GroGreen - It's currently in Beta since it is initially designed to release with a small set of features focusing on transactional lines. We will be adding the new Data Table to the existing stock screens and reiterating both the screens and the Data Table object over time. We welcome any feedback you have when using it!
