    Gmail Contextual Gadgets and Gmail Gadget

    Hey all,

    I received an email from Google about Gmail Contextual Gadgets being depreciated as of August. Will this affect the Gmail Gadget?

    If it does, is there a plan to replace it with a Gmail Add-On? I hope so... I really like the Gmail Gadget.

    Hi GroGreen,

    Great question! We've written an FAQ on the subject which you can view here.

    The Short Version - The current Gmail Gadget will be replaced by a revamped "Gmail Add-on" before the August cutoff. The Feature is currently in development, and we currently anticipate its release in late June 2018.
