The issue may be caused by the Integrated Application settings for the Method Integration engine in QuickBooks.
Try the following in QuickBooks. (You will need to be in single user mode to do this)
- Click Edit > Preferences
- Click Integrated Applications and click the Company Preferences tab.
- Select Method Integration Ensure for use with QuickBooks
- Click Properties
- Make sure that Allow this application to access Social Security Numbers, customer credit card information, other personal data is checked.
- Repeats steps 4-5 for Method Integration Engine Listener
Entering a Credit Card number into Method will send it over to QuickBooks but anytime that number is pulled back into Method it will show up as xxxxxxxxxxx1234. For security reasons QuickBooks never returns the full credit card number.
