I'm posting this on behalf of a user:

I have one quick question for you......whenever we enter a Sales Order into Method, we get a conflict with Quickbooks that says "The error was: Missing posting account."  Do you have any suggestions for us or know who we need to talk to about that?

The cause may be that you are using QB Pro.  Only Premier and Enterprise have the ability to create new sales orders.  While you may be able to work with existing sales orders in QB Pro, you cannot create new ones.

Is this the case for you?

When we create a Sales Order in Method and it syncs with QB, it automatically becomes an invoice in QB and Method.  Do we need to upgrade to Premier to solve this problem or is there another option? (Basically we can not use the Sales Order feature right now.)

I do know this.  If you are using quickbooks pro there are no sales orders. I looked for a sales order feature and there is none.  I do know from using the Method Pro Services App, that it tried to syc a sales order to quickbooks and it turned into a conflic.

Hi Heather,

In order to fully take advantage of sales orders in Method you would need to upgrade from QuickBooks Pro. Since Pro does not have sales orders you will get a conflict when you try to sync sales orders. What you could try is checking wait for sync approval on the sales order, that will prevent Method from trying to post the Sales Order.
