 Running through the drop down Wiazrd, step three I choose the text field.  I understand.

Can I show two fields in the drop down?  For example, my matters have very ambiguos Opportunity IDs, ABC123, that sort of thing.  But the names are meaningful, like Alpha Beta Corp re Field Study.  I'd like to have the drop down show both fields.  It only needs to relate on one field, but I want the other as a reference.

You can only have one value displayed in a drop down after it is selected.

As an alternative you can make the Opportunity name the first column instead of the RecordID. To do this you have to add a linked field that points to Name, so if the drop down is in the invoice screen you will need to add the Name field as a linked field from the Opportunity table to the invoice table, once this is done you should be able to select that newly added field as the first column.
