    Where is Sales Center

Throughout the MethodCRM User Guide I am told to Click Sales Center.  How do I do that?

    Hi James,

'Sales Center' no longer exists in the revamped CRM (The manual hasn't quite been updated just yet)  but the contents of it have been broken out across multiple tabs. What exactly are you looking for in Sales Center?

    Re: Where is Sales Center

I am trying to work with Lists.

My end game it to get export fielded data to a Word document that I can convert to PDF and deliver to customers.  I was told elsewhere on this forum to use the Generate Report function.  I have used the Export feature to go to Excel, and I've been able to export the content of one table.

I have a Sales Order table.  This table contains pertinent info regarding Orders.  The screen that is used to manage the Orders table collects some data that is "multi-entry."  As far as I can tell, the way to manage this in Method is to create a grid from a linked table on the screen which displays the relevant records.  I set this up the way the stock Invoice screen handles the Line Items.

So, I need to get my screen to convert to Word.  With the data from these "embedded" "multi-entry" grids properly displayed.

    Answer

    James-

If you are looking for List Builder it is now under the Campaigns tab.

In Method you can't convert to Word but you could create a PDF(Report) using the Method Report Designer based on the SalesOrder table and use the new tables you created as detail tables for the Report.

To actually generate this report you would use the Generate Report action and make sure to specify the report you created and the the RecordId for the SalesOrder that will be the basis of the report.

If you are keen on using Word you could export to excel and try a mail merge or you can even try using merge fields in Method if you are just sending out an email.

Great.  I just got the REport Designer installed and it is going to work for me.
