SalesRep table update issue

    SalesRep table update issue

    In attempting to update my SalesRep table, I kept getting the message that I can't update the field that (RepID) that I'm trying to use as a key field. In trying various combinations, it appears that I managed to process an update without checking the "update records" option - as a consequence, I now have 2x the original records, and I'm getting errors b/c of duplicate RepID's and Initials.

    I've downloaded and re-edited the SalesRep table so that it no longer contains multiple values, but now I can't get it to re-import... and frankly, I don't know if that will eliminate the duplicates or not.

    Can you give me some help getting this cleaned up?

    I think you had this same issue previously and it was resolved in THIS forum post.

    Indeed, Michael - two years ago almost exactly to the day, I was wrestling with the same errors. I guess that suggests that one or both of us is consistent, at least.
