Can't use timer or manually enter time on the Mobile Time Tracker

Added the time tracker to the Mobile user and set the screen to "Optimize for Mobile Device".  When I pull up the screen the timer doesn't appear and there is no way to manually enter the time.  How would I edit this to allow the user to enter the time manually on the mobile device?

The timer object does not work on Mobile screens, if you want to manually enter time just make the Duration field visble on the screen. You can enter time in minutes in that field.

I made the Duration field visible, but I don't want to have to enter time in minutes.  Is there a way to change that field to hours?

Or Is there a way to make the timer field visible and allow the user to manually enter the time in that field, even though the timer functionality doesn't work in mobile?

For that field to transfer to QuickBooks it has to remain as minutes but within that table are 2 fields for Duration one for hours and one for minutes.

The duration field that is one the screen by default is for Minutes, hide that one and add the duration hours field to the screen, then add some actions to duration hours so that when it is changed it multiplies its value by 60 and puts it into the duration minutes field.

FYI, I added the DurationHours field to the screen, but it won't let you input anything, even though read-only is NOT checked.

    Hi Brett,

Even though you can add the DurationHours Field to your screen, however this is a system Read-only field, so you will not be able to change it.  You will have to use the DurationMinutes field instead.

I know, I was just trying to provide a correction to Michael's post so that no one else gets confused. I don't know of anybody that would want to enter their time in total minutes, so I just have my own text fields for hours and mintutes and have actions to process this into the DurationMinutes field.

Hi Brett - that would be the right approach to this. Thanks for updating the post.
