I recommend that you first export the leads that you have imported into Method:
1. Customize > Integration Tools
2. Select Export a table to a file
3. Pick the Customer table from the dropdown
4. Choose the following fields to export:
a. RecordID
b. FirstName
c. LastName
d. FullName
e. SalesRep
f. IsActive
g. Name
5. Choose the format of “Comma-Separated Values”
6. Click on Export to File…
7. In the .CSV file, you can now mass update the data under the “SalesRep” column heading.
8. Save the updated file
Now we can update the lead customers with the new data by doing the following:
1. Customize>Integration Tools
2. Select Import into a table from a file
3. Pick the Customer table from the dropdown
4. Click on Choose File and on the Open window, select the file that was created
5. Click on Import Data…
6. In step 2, checkmark “Update existing records by matching the key fields”. Make sure “RecordID” is checked off
7. For all of the fields, except the “RecordID” and “SalesRep” , select Do Not Import
8. Click on Import Data
9. In the next screen, click on Begin Import
