    Is there a way to filter which field users can see on a dropdown without using the filter option in the customization screen?  I would like to have users who don't have customization access to be able to limit what is displayed as choices to only current ones, without deleting the old choices, as this deletes them on all old records as well.

     

    I think I could do it through some actions and the use of a second field for 'display' choices, rather than all, but would prefer an easier way if possible.

    Hi Rolf,

    Currently, it is not possible for the user to filter the choides available for a dropdown field. It is a great suggestion and will bring that up with the team but not sure when or if this will be implemented.
