    Anyone try to get the MethodAPISample_GetTablesFields.xls example to work with OpenOffice?  After enabling macros the [Get Tabl...] button gives the error

    "OpenOffice.org Error ... A Scripting Framework error occurred ... Basic script could not be found: ... butGetTableList_Click"

    I figure I already know the answer, that this requires Microsoft Office Excel, but thought I'd ask...

    We don't have any examples on how to use the Method API with OpenOffice.  That's not to say it isn't compatible with OpenOffice, but it just means that it's up to you as the developer to do it from scratch.

    You just need to be able to call .net web services from code, or in this case from a macro.
