Emails showing methodintegration in from field

    Emails showing methodintegration in from field

     Hello!

    I've customized the default email preferences, and I've also created a noreply user, as I found in another post on the forums. The issue I'm still having is that the from on the emails show this:

    noreply=springsfnd.org@methodintegration.com; on behalf of; noreply@springsfnd.org

    Is there a way to take the methodintegration.com out of the from field?

    There's two possible explanations for this…at least two I can think of.

    1. Are you sure your Method email settings are correct? Did you get the verification / test email? If not, it may mean the first 50 emails are still being sent by Method. We do this to help new users out until they actually get around to doing this in their account.

    2. It could just be a setting coming from your mail server. Might be worth checking with them or doing some Google searches on that specifically.

     Hi!

    Yeah, I'm sure the email settings are correct. No, I didn't get the verification email, not sure where it's actually sending it.

    For mail server, I control it, so it's not a setting on it.

    Ok, I know what's happening here, you're seeing 'on behalf of' on the emails when using the Method portals...specifically the automated "system emails".  One example, when a portal users registers for the portal for the first time. This makes sense and is normal.

    Those emails are actually sent using our severs because its the only way we can verify and ensure they are in fact being sent. We obviously want to make sure the automated portal emails are working.

    Now, you're asking if the 'on behalf of' be removed or hidden? I'll see what we can do by creating an internal ticket on our end but I'm not sure how high this will make it on the priority list of our development team though…there're working on some pretty impressive (and massive) things by the way which I'm sure you and everyone else using Method will love.

    Is there a way for me to change the portal on my end? We'd like the methodintegration hidden or removed from the email.

    Hi hycari,

    Unfortunately no, those are "system" generated emails not ones sent through Method actions. The way it stands now we would have to look into this internally.
