    Commissions paid on jobs

    Hi there,

can method track the real revenue and cost of a job so that commission can be calculated based on the profit from the job?  It'd be cool if it can because right now we have to pull up a profitablility report from QB and then manually calculate commission, then enter the commission back into QB pertaining to that job.  Just looking for a cleaner way of calculating commissions.

Anything is possible within Method - if the information is available to us from QB then you can build a custom screen to review/modify/update the information and sync it back with QB.  If you haven't already, review some of our webinars on customization, specifically those on tables, actions, objects and looping.  You should be able to build a page which will take a series of data, run your commission math, update the field then sync with QB.
