    Server Upgrade - Method Integration Engine update needed for real-time sync

    We have completed a major server upgrade today - basically we have trippled the size of the Method server structure to handle the growing Method community.

    There is one thing you'll need to do on your end if you have left your computer with QuickBooks on it on over the weekend:

    1. Close the Method Integration Engine on your Desktop.  You can do this by right-clicking on the brown & yellow "m" next to your clock on your task bar, and chosing "Shut Down".

    2. Go to Start > Programs > Method > Method Integration Engine for use with QuickBooks.

    3. Agree to install the update.

    If you don't do this, you'll find that changes that happen in Method don't go to QuickBooks in real time.

    Also, of note, there are a couple things we are still working through today:

    a) If you open a screen with a calendar and it doesn't load the first time, please give it 10 minutes and then sign out and sign back in.  We expect to have this resolved by the end of Sunday evening.

    b) If you are a software developer using the MethodAPI, you'll notice that some of the latest API calls and recent changes are not present.  We expect to have this resolved by end of Sunday evening as well.
