Is there a setting where I can control how many characters are shown in grid cell before the link 'show all' is displayed? This is a nice feature, but I'd like to cut it off at 30 characters and then have the 'show all' link.

I can do it it in SQL - SUBSTRING(field, 1, 30), but the nice 'show all' link doesn't apply then.

Am I missing something?

Hi Blake - I had to dig this up from our Release Notes.

"Auto grow" on grids - Using the grid wizard you can now specify if the grid should expand vertically to fit its contents. As you may have already seen in the new Customers screen, the Activities grid now shows the CRM comments directly in the grid. If the contents are greater than 200 characters it will automatically create a "Show all" / "Show less" link so that you can see the remaining text.

The magic number seems to be 200. I don't think this can be easily changed via customization.
