What are the differences between the Customer, Customer and Customer Lead, and Customer Lead tables? I'm working on transferring my information to a different account and I need to transfer leads and associated contacts and opportunites and customers and associated contacts and opportunities.
I did this 1 yr ago when I signed up for Method and it seems the tables were different. I remember there being a Contacts and a Customer table. Have things changed a bit? For example, I also remember that to classify a customer as a lead I marked "TRUE" in the "IsLeadStatusOnly" column. I don't see that on any of these tables.
I'm not a stranger to importing/exporting tables in Method but I'd appreciate a general outline of how to attack this. What table should I start with? I'm thinking I upload my leads and customers, then upload contacts associating them with right lead/customer, and then upload opportunties and associate them with the right contact--is this correct? What are the key fields I need to include in the spreadhseet to make sure my contacts associate correctly with my leads/customers? What are the key fields to make sure my opportunties assoicate with the right contact?
