    case diaglogue

    I have an active case that I opened.  There are two existing entries in it with a note to email the contact on saving.  There is one case dialogue that was entered but belongs to a different case.  How do I delete a specific date/time existing dialogue entry so the customer isn't emailed this part of the dialogue?  thanks,

    Hi mjlittle,

    If there is case dialog entered which is not set as Internal then it would be viewable by the recipient. Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to remove it from the Existing Case Dialog. You can remove the text from the activity then save it or just delete the activity, but the case dialog will not be affected by that.

    I would put forward a suggestion to have this ability to remove specific lines from a dialogue in light of the fact that this error can occur!

    any update on this mater. i just want to remove some activity we wrongly recored and deleted later from the exsisting case dialog.

    if not it is look not profesional if our customer can see deleted activity  from his portal.

    Hi Kumara,

    Unfortunately for Method:Classic - this is a feature we arent looking to implement. Moving forward our Development resources will be focused on Method:New, but we are of course still going to be supporting and fixing any issues that come up surrounding Classic - Just not adding any new features.

    That Being said - this feature has been implemented in Method:New. Removing an activity (or making it internal at a later date) will remove the Activity from the customers portal.

    Hi Ben.

    thanks for the clarification on this issue.

    i have managed to get this customize the way i can edit the exsisting case dialog in the edit case window.
