QuickBooks and Method Engine start to run slowly after a few days

    QuickBooks and Method Engine start to run slowly after a few days

    Hello,

    I’m noticing that when we leave QuickBooks and the Method Integration Engine running for a few days, it starts to run really slowly and sometimes become unresponsive. That machine is a server that has backup software that runs at night. Has anyone heard of backup software causing problems with Method and QuickBooks? I'm also seeing some Windows application errors for Method when I restart the server.

    Hi barstone,

    What kind of errors are you seeing? Are there any entries in the Windows Event Viewer logs which are related to the Method Integration Engine?

    If you haven't already, I would suggest calling us and speaking with our Support team.
