Error on action 13 when selecting a budget/contract.

    Error on action 13 when selecting a budget/contract.

    One the stock Budgets/contracts screen, when click the Select link for a budget, I am getting the error:

    An error has occured in the Update Field In Table action. Please verify all data being entered is correct.

    Matt,

    I can't seem to recreate this on my end.  Is this for every budget listed?   Maybe there's an error in the data?

    Adam,

    I was verifying that fields did not get deleted some how and opened the SalesOrderLine table. When i click the finished editing fields button I got the message that an error had occured, please contact Method...

    Can you try to regenrate the fields for that table and I can check if that is the issue.

    As an aside, I have seen that error more in the past month than in the past 4 years. Is there a reason it is occuring more often?

    Dev did a regen for you right at close on Friday.  Can you confirm if this fixed the issue.

    Adam,

    Clicking Finished Editing Fields in the SalesOrderLine table now works correctly.

    In Pro Services when I select a budget, I am now getting the error:

    Could not find field 'AccountType'.

    As far as i can tell, this action is action 33 on the refresh button under the summary tab.

    I copied the budgets/contracts screen to look at that action and the second "Where field" is showing up blank. With the "SECOND value is:" values of "Type In" and "OtherCurrentLiability". So it appears the action is trying to search by account type here. I looked in the InvoiceLine table and account type is not in the table. I did not delete it. I checked in 2 other accounts and they do not have the Account Type field in the InvoiceLine table either.

    Are you able to repriduce this?

    Do you have any idea what may have happened to the Account Type field?

    Matt,

    In my action, the second where field has AccountType.  I looked in the InvoiceLine table and I have that field also.  Have you tried adding it back in?  The AccountType field gets added in when you install Professioal Services.  Did you install it recently?  Was there any errors when you did install it?  I'm wordering if something went wrong during the install and the field did not get added.

    Adam,

    I've had Pro Services installed for quite some time now and didn't have any issues until recently. The fact that the field gets added when installing Pro Services would explain why it wasn't in the other accounts I checked as those do not have Pro Services installed.

    I have not yet tried adding the field, I wanted to see if there was something else wrong before potentially making it worse. I am assuming it is a linked field linked via the item. Is that correct?

    I added the AccountType field to both the InvoiceLine table and the SalesOrderLine table and now it is working correctly again.
