    Method Integration Engine

    I have just installed Quickbooks on a new hosted server and installed the integration engine.

    During installation I wasn't prompted by QuickBooks to allow access via the 'Yes Always...' option.

    The integration engine is now showing an error... 'Connection Failure...' to IP 72.32.228.234 on port 10000. Method is also showing the error under synchronization prefernces... 'Status: FailedError on :0'

    I have opened up our hosted firewall to 72.32.228.234 on all ports for both TCP and UDP with no change.

    Hi Andy,

    Method server installations can be really tricky.  I would go over these two acticles in our Help Center for some ideas on what you may need to look for to troubleshoot.

    We also have 5 IP addresses that may need to be opened up.

    Adam,

    I've gone thorough all of the issues outlined but still getting the same error. Data does seem to be synchronising however.

    Are there any known issues with 64 bit servers?

    Andy,

    I haven't heard of any issues specifically with 64 bit servers. So you're able to perform a full sync? Could there be something in the network/firewall that is preventing Method PUSH from staying connected?

    Here is a forum post where Danny discusses the challenges that were involved in getting Right Networks and Insyq setup as hosting providers. Perhaps there is something in the thread that can lead you in the right direction.
