Is there any way for the field to automatically display all the information without the user having to pull the blue bar down for each field? I changed number of the input line in advance setting but it does not seem to do anything. Thanks.

Hi Jason, 

In the first step of the Grid Wizard you will see a checkbox labelled Auto Grow? (See the image below). If this is checked in your grid the rows should grow to include all of the text. Note that the behaviour of this setting will be different depending on if the grid is editable or not. An uneditable grid will adjust the size automatically but an editable grid requires that you click into the text or gain focus.

Auto Grow is alredy checked and most of the fields are not editable on screen. I thought it was the edition of screen that I was using (Remote Entry Edition) so I created a new screen using the new edition (CRM Pro for QB Desktop) and still getting the same result. Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Hi Jason, 

I did some testing and found that if the you turn on Allow Edit? in Step 5 of 9 of your Grid Wizard then you will get the blue bars as in your screenshot. If you turn Allow Edit? off and check the Auto Grow? button you should get the results you are looking for. Let me know if this works for you.

At this time I'm not sure of how to get the Auto Grow? feature to behave the same way if Allow Edit? is on but I will check back to this post if I can find a solution.

I hope you were able to get your grid to behave better. I looked a little further into your issue and unfortunately found that the solution I described in my last post is the only one. Improving the grids in Method is of high priority though, and we hope to make these improvements soon.

Thank you for your reply. Because we need to have 1 field edit on screen so we are still seening the blue bar but at least we know that we did not missing some obvious function that we did not check. Thank you again for your help and I hope that issue can be resolve in the future updates.
