    Grid Not Saving Settings

Screen: Auto-Generated Screen for a custom table.

Object: Grid <Based off custom table - No filter header - No adding / editing allowed - Custom view applied>

Problem / Explanation: When the small gear in the bottom-right hand corner is clicked to display the "Select Columns To Show" box, I check all the columns I do want, and deselect all the columns I don't want. However, when the page is closed and re-viewed or reloaded from Right_Click_Screen->Reload_From_Menu, the updated selection is not saved.

Though it's probably obvious, just for clarity, yes i did remember to hit "Update" after making the selections.

    Thank you for your time,

please let me know if this will be fixed soon or if i need to fix something on my end,

    ~Joe

     Hello Joe,

The 'small gear' in the bottom right hand corner of the grid is meant to temporarily show / hide columns only for the current ‘viewing session’.  If the screen is reloaded or you log off then log in again, then it defaults to the grid preferences as set up in the grid wizard.  In your case, if you want to permanently hide/ show columns when they initially load then you can edit that under the grid preferences. Hope this helps :)

    Hi Amanda.

You are right. I had a blonde moment. I had checked the grid wizard before posting but didn't realize the 'Hidden' option in the grid wizard was set to 'Y' on a particular column when i scrolled through it. That was a nice quick fix.

As far as the 'small gear' column selector, i was unaware that it was applying temporary views. Thanks for letting me know =).

    Thank you for the help,

    ~Joe
