Field doesn't show in the grid wizard for contacts

I want to add a field to the grid in the leads and contacts window.  I have created a few custom tables and all the others show execept the one I need. The field I need is LeadEventDate. LeadEventDate is not in the dropdown list. Here is where I am at.

Lead and Contacts List - Right Click and Customize - Customize existing screen (CRM_LeadList(2)) -  Edit Contacts Grid - Grid Wizzard for Contacts step 2.

I want to add the LeadEventDate field but it doesnt show in the list.

    Thanks Rodney

    Answer

    Hi Rodney,

Which table is your LeadEventDate field in? Is it in your Entity table? A custom table? The Contacts grid in the CRM_LeadList screen is based off the Contacts table so you need to make sure your field is linked to that tableTo add a linked field to your Contacts table, go to Customize>Tables/Fields and click Edit Fields... next to your Contacts table. You will see an option in the following screen called Add a linked field

Hope this helps and let me know if you run into any more difficulties!
