    View Only Screens

I need to give access to various employees to view various screens like edit cutomer, customer list document list, documents, etc. but I I do not want them to have the ability to edit anything on the screens besides adding new activities. Is there a way to do this? If so what is the easiest and fastest way?

    Hi dottie,

I think the best solution here would be to prevent some users from "executing" Save and Delete buttons. This has to be done through customization. In the screen designer, if you edit a button and skip to Step 2 of 3: Button Actions you'll see a button with three dots next to the Event: dropdown fieldSee the screenshot below.

Click the three dots button and then On Step 2 of 2:Event Roles of the following popup you are given the option to allow/disallow specific roles access to execute the button. This means that if the user does not have the correct permissions, they can see the button, but nothing will happen if they try and click it. You will need to edit this setting for every button on every page that should have restricted access. Hope this helps!
