    making a child table of customer

    I am no longer able to link a table to customer with the FullName field.

    I have done the following steps

    1. Enter a new table name.

    2. Click add table

    3. in field name put Name.

    4. Changed field type to dropdown

    5. click add field

    6. Choose from existing table

    7. Select the customer table

    8. Choose a field only gives me the opton of recordID to select.

    I thought I was able to choose FullName normally on that menu? I have created other tables before linking with fullname to customer. For some reason it no longer gives me the option.

    Hi Ben

    You might try opening the entity table and clicking the finished editing table button.  You can then return to your other table and add try adding the dropdown again.

    Had already tried this, but did it again for entity and customer table and didnt help.

    It sounds like there is a corruption that somebody at Method will need to fix.  We've experienced the same thing from time to time.  You'll need to contact them directly.  They are generally very helpful in getting this stuff sorted.

    Ben,

    Could you check to see if there is a duplicate entity in the account?  That has caused this type of issue in the past.

    yes we did and that fixed it. Having issues with web to leads, creating 2 contacts when I am adding an opportunity attached to a customer. So that had created a couple of empty entities, when I hadnt set the opportunity contact name.

    Going to create another post in forum about that issue :)

    Thanks for the help on this one though.
