We here in South Africa canot use any of the Gateways in Method.
Why not add a South african Payment gateway so that we can use this service?
Please let me know how to add a non Method gateway for the time being.

You can only use supported merchant accounts in Method. Click here to see the list. We also just recently released Paypal integration. Judging from this article I found, it looks like Paypal may support ZAR as of February 2013. I will check to see if Method can support ZAR through Paypal and post back here when I have an update.

After further investigation, I found that PayPal doesn't directly support the ZAR currency. For credit card transactions, the currency would have to be converted from a supported PayPal currency. There is some hope though as Method supports Authorize.net emulation. If you can find a merchant account that works in South Africa, and that supports Authorize.net emulation, you can use it in Method. Hope this helps to shed some more information!

Thank you for the information i did do some research on paypal but it turned out that non FNB (bank in SA) customers cannot make payments online.
Ill check with online credit card company’s in SA if they support Authorize.net emulation and as soon as I get more info ill post it here
