New Lead screen not saving

    New Lead screen not saving

    Method Team,

    I have added a new field into the "New Lead" screen - I added an action to "Enter Value into Field on Screen" - I used this same action when I added the field to the "New Customer" screen and it worked - I put this action before the Save action.  But when I test to see if it is saving it does not.  I have compared the actions in "New Customer" under the Save button to see if it looked like anything got deleted in error and that does not appear to be the case.  Suggestions?

    Hey Vlocke,

    I will need a little bit more information from you before I can troubleshoot the problem your running into.

    Here is a summary of the problem based on your forum post (please let me know if I missed anything):

    1. Created a new field object in the "New Lead" screen
    2. Added action "Enter Value into field on screen"
    3. Action seems to  work for new customer but not new lead
    4. Placed it before the save action but it doesn't save

      

    What are you trying to do more specifically?

    If you are working on creating a field where you want to add the CustomerWebsite into the New Customer & New Lead tables, make sure you follow the steps that I outlined in the previous post:

    Connecting the relationship between the Contacts table and the Customer table

    What's great about that workflow is that you do not need to modify any actions!
