    E-Mail Template

    I am trying to create a E-Mail template that does the following in the body of the message.

    1. Says "You have been sent a total of ?? work orders."

    I want the ?? to update with the numbers of work oders emailed. I can make a pop-up message give the total count but can't figure it out in the email message.


    2. Lists the customers names of the work orders sent.

    I can get it to work if theres just one work order being sent at a time with merge field and Activity.BillAddressAddr1 but not if I am send multipule work oders in one pdf.

    thesolarguys,

    For your first question, it looks like you have already generated the correct value you want and put it in a pop-up message. Your next step could be to put that action result into a field, possibly a field called NumberOfWorkOrders in the Users table. This could be done with an Update Field In Table action. Once you have the value in your table, you can merge the field into your email template.

    For your second question, it might be best to create a report that lists customer names with our Report Designer. You can then generate that report, put it in an action result, and attach it to your email in the Send Email action.
