Is it possible to change a customer to a lead?

      There is no way of converting a Customer to a Lead.  Once they are customers, they are in QuickBooks.  You will have to delete the customer in QuickBooks and Method and re-input them as Leads.
      The easiest way is to export the customers who are to be leads and then delete the customers.  Then it should be a simple import back onto the Leads.  There is another forum post on this here.
