Credit Card Processing Action / Action Type REFUND

    Credit Card Processing Action / Action Type REFUND

    Has anyone been able to use the Credit Card Processing Action to process a refund successfully?

    Hi Lance,

    Apologies for the late reply. This got missed somehow.  I don't believe this is possible with the Credit Card Processing action. As I understand it, this action merely sends the payment data to the merchant and we either get a success or failure response. I don't think anything is coded for refunds.

    Hi Lance,

    I was actually mistaken. You can do refunds and voids through the Credit Card Processing action.

    Also be aware that you will need to buid custom screens for this and like also put in actions to create the credit memo that woud apply to the refund or void.

    Will you test this on your end? It is not working on my end. If you could let me know the results of your test, and what steps you took during your test, that would be great. Thanks. It seems like no other consultants or users out there have had a succesfful go at this since you are the only responder.

    Lance,

    I can't create a test screen for you. If believe there is a bug, you can book a consulting session and have them review the work you've done. If they find an issue with the Method action, you will be refunded the consulting charges.
