    Copy a table

    Method Team,

Can you copy a table to use for testing purposes?  If so, what is the best way to do that?

    Thanks,

    VLocke

    Hi VLocke,

Unforunately there is no way to make a copy of an existing table in Method.  You would have to create your new table, and add each field manually.

When I make a new table - the Customer Table - is there anything I have to be concerned about - like the fields that sync to QB?  I would just be using the table to test - I don't need or want the fields to sync with QB.  Thanks.

    Hi VLocke,

As long as you are creating the table and fields from within Method, you shouldn't have to worry about this new table (let's call it "Customer2") syncing with QuickBooks.  Method isn't able to create fields/tables and have them sent to QuickBooks.  The only time this is even remotely possible is using Custom Fields, however custom fields have to be created in QuickBooks anyways, then they sync over to Method.
