BUG February Version: Send Email Action - Attaching Doc Not Working

    BUG February Version: Send Email Action - Attaching Doc Not Working

    I have an action that attaches a Document to a Send Email action. In the February version of Method the document is not being attached. I just tested it side by side with the October version and that October still works but not February.

    Please fix.

    Hello,

       I had one tip that at your URL may be incorrect for your path to the document.  The February version uses the sub-domain 'app.'

       Can you show me a secreen shot of your Send Email function.?  I would like a better idea on how to reproduce it.

    Hello,

       We did a test here and could not reproduce the bug.  Can I get a screenshot of the Generate Report that picks up the report and stores it in an Action Report?  It may be something there that is causing the error.

    It's not a Generate Report. It's a Document field lookup from the DocumentLibrary table shoved into an ActionResult. That AR is then used as the attachment in the SendEmail action.

    Here's the screen shot of the Retrieve Value From Table action immediately before the SendEmail action (see link in my previous post for that action's screenshot)

    Same screen works fine in Method October version but the Feb. version doesn't attach the doc to the email.

    Any update on this? The problem is still happening in Feb. version and it's a pain to switch to Oct version when I need to use this feature (twice this AM).

        We've been able to re-create it and there is a ticket in with development.  We'll have to let you know when it has been resolved.

    I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with attaching documents with Send Email action.
